CAS Part Customization

Allows you to customize CAS Parts to be however you like. It also allows you to share your customizations with the community.

CAS Part Customization exists because CC creators do not properly tag their CAS Parts in most cases. It is also used to tag CAS Parts for specific functionality such as showing pubic hair or bulges.

Installing Customizations

In order to install a customization provided by someone else, first download their customization json. If it is named `my_own_customizations.json` rename it to something unique!!!
Within your The Sims 4/ folder, navigate into "mod_data/deviousdesires/cas_part_customizations" and drop the downloaded customization into that folder. Simple as that!
Now boot up the game and enjoy your customized CAS Parts.

Customizing A CAS Part

There is only one way to customize CAS Parts
- Anytime: SHIFT+CLICK on Sim -> DD -> Customize CAS Parts
When you close the customization dialog, your customizations will be saved to "The Sims 4/mod_data/deviousdesires/cas_part_customizations/my_own_customizations.json
In order to share your file, rename the file to something unique, then upload it somewhere for others to download.
If you wish to install a customization file from other people, simply download their json file and drop it into "The Sims 4/mod_data/deviousdesires/cas_part_customizations" folder and it will be loaded.
- CAS Part customizations are loaded in alphabetical order (or reverse alphabetical order if you are on a Mac)

Useful Tags

A few tags may change the behavior of Devious Desires, as listed below.

Tag	Description	Effects	Conflicting Tags
REVEALING	Indicates a part is revealing. i.e. It shows either genitals or nipples.	Sims will react to Sims wearing this part as if the Sim is "nude".
DISALLOW_FOR_RANDOM	Indicates a part is not allowed to be used when randomly selecting CAS Parts for Sims to use.	This tag will prevent Sims from having this part assigned to them randomly when they don't already have a part assigned to them.
HAS_VISIBLE_ANUS	Indicates this part has a visible anus. Mainly intended on parts at the LOWER_BODY slot.	Sims will react to this Sim as if the Sim has a visible anus.
HAS_VISIBLE_STOMACH	Indicates this part has a visible stomach (i.e. belly button). Mainly intended on parts at the UPPER_BODY slot.	Sims may react to a visible stomach. If a part has this tag, any belly piercings on the Sim will be shown.
HAS_VISIBLE_NIPPLES	Indicates this part has visible nipples. Mainly intended on parts at the UPPER_BODY slot. This tag is useful for outfit parts that are see-through.	Sims may react to visible nipples. If a part has this tag, any nipple piercings on the Sim will be shown.
HAS_VISIBLE_VAGINA	Indicates this part has a visible vagina. Mainly intended on parts at the LOWER_BODY slot. This tag is useful for outfit parts that are see-through.	If a Sim normally has a vagina, Sims may react to a visible vagina.
HAS_VISIBLE_PENIS	Indicates this part has a visible penis. Mainly intended on parts at the LOWER_BODY slot. This tag is useful for outfit parts that are see-through or have a revealing bulge.	If a Sim normally has a penis, Sims may react to a visible penis.
HAS_VISIBLE_PENIS_BULGE	Indicates a part has a visible penis bulge.	Sims may react to a visible penis bulge. If a Sim normally has a Penis, then Sims will recieve a visible Bulge attached to their crotch when wearing this CAS Part.
NO_PENIS_BULGE	Indicates a part should not show a penis bulge.	If a Sim normally has a Penis, when wearing this CAS Part, a bulge will NOT be attached to their lower half.
SHOW_CHEST	Indicates this part should show the Sims chest/breasts. Mainly intended on parts at the UPPER_BODY slot. This tag can be useful for showing a chest underneath a shirt or on an outfit that would normally show their chest/nipples.	Sims will react to visible chest/breasts. If a part has this tag, nipple piercings, chest skin overlays, and the Sims selected Chest will be shown.
SHOW_GENITALS	Indicates this part should show the Sims genitals. Mainly intended on parts at the LOWER_BODY slot. This tag can be useful for showing a penis or vagina underneath a skirt or on an outfit that would normally show their penis or vagina.	Sims will react to visible genitals. If a part has this tag, any pubic hair, penile/vaginal piercings, penis/vagina skin overlays, and the Sims selected Penis or Vagina will be shown.
PUBIC_HAIR_ABOVE_GROIN	On Pubic Hair parts, Indicates this pubic hair appears above the genitals. On Non-Pubic Hair parts, Indicates this part should show the Pubic Hair of a Sim, if their currently selected pubic hair is available above the groin.	If a Pubic Hair part has this tag, the Pubic Hair will be used with parts that allow showing pubic hair above the groin. If a Non-Pubic Hair part has this tag, any pubic hair above the groin will be shown with this CAS Part.
PUBIC_HAIR_TESTICLES	On Pubic Hair parts, Indicates this pubic hair appears on the testicles. On Non-Pubic Hair parts, Indicates this part should show the Pubic Hair of a Sim, if their currently selected pubic hair is available on the testicles.	If a Pubic Hair part has this tag, the Pubic Hair will be used with parts that allow showing pubic hair on the testicles. If a Non-Pubic Hair part has this tag, any pubic hair on the testicles will be shown with this CAS Part.
PUBIC_HAIR_VAGINA	On Pubic Hair parts, Indicates this pubic hair appears on the vagina. On Non-Pubic Hair parts, Indicates this part should show the Pubic Hair of a Sim, if their currently selected pubic hair is available on the vagina.	If a Pubic Hair part has this tag, the Pubic Hair will be used with parts that allow showing pubic hair on the vagina. If a Non-Pubic Hair part has this tag, any pubic hair on the vagina will be shown with this CAS Part.

SHIFT+CLICK on a Sim -> Devious Desires -> Customize CAS Parts
1. Update CAS Parts however you want.
2. After closing the dialog, the CAS Parts will go through a process of updating, this may take some time!
3. You will get another notification telling you when it has finished updating. This process takes longer the more CAS Parts you have!
4. CAS Part Customizations save at the following location "The Sims 4/mod_data/deviousdesires/cas_part_customizations/my_own_customizations.json"
5. When uploading this file to make it available for everyone else to use, please rename it to something unique to you! Do not name it "my_own_customizations.json", "main.json", or "combined.json"!
6. In order for your changes to persist, ensure you Save the Game after closing the CAS Parts customization dialog!

FAQ

Where do I put main.json at?
- You don't put it anywhere. Drag the folder containing it (Yes, the mod_data folder) into your The Sims 4/Mods folder and don't modify the folder structure at all.
